The filmed version of the award-winning 2017 theatre production Asem was an exceptional experience. Instead of shooting it on stage, the production was filmed in a farm stable at the Worcester Museum in the heart of the stormy winter of 2021. Our theatre actors showed real stamina and grit and so did our tech crew, braving those long, icy winter nights. This is a story of love in the time of destruction, which transforms the everyday into the exceptional.
